Rick Frost, CEO, The Winnipeg Foundation announcing the results of the
90-Hour Giving Challenge at The Forks on April 26th.
Thank you to everyone who supported The Winnipeg Foundation’s 90-Hour Giving Challenge with a gift to the David Moroni School Endowment in support of the RWB School Professional Division.
During the 90 hours the RWB received 41 donations for a total of $20,911.24 – the second highest dollar value of gifts received during the Challenge!
Students of the RWB School Professional Division are our dance teachers, choreographers and RWB Company members of tomorrow. Tuition alone is not enough to help these young artists reach their goals. YOU make it happen through your support.
“I was thrilled to hear about the success of The Winnipeg Foundation’s 90-Hour Giving Challenge! Together, our efforts to build the David Moroni School Endowment Fund will ensure that our young dancers have every opportunity to fully develop their talents and become the artists that they aspire to be. Thank you to everyone for your generous support!” Arlene Minkhorst Director, RWB School
Donations to the David Moroni School Endowment Fund or any of the other RWB endowment funds can be made at anytime online at The Winnipeg Foundation at www.wpgfdn.org. Gifts to an RWB endowment fund are eligble to be matched by the Canada Cultural Investment Fund – Endowment Incentives Program.
The Winnipeg Foundation, Canada’s first community foundation, established 90 years ago has been built by contributions by donors from all walks of life. During its nine decades the Foundation has distributed more than $260 million to a wide variety of local charities.
