Position: Company Manager

Canada's oldest ballet company is seeking a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Company Manager. The Royal winnipeg Ballet has toured to over fifty-six countries in its sixty-eight year history.

Reporting to the Director of Touring and Artistic Administration, the Company Manager oversees daily management of 26 Artists and is responsible for all Artist Human Resources maintenance and touring activity. They will coordinate and create all travel itineraries, schedules and related budgets, obtain appropriate visas and permissions to enter foreign countries, act as liaison with the Department of Immigration to ensure appropriate documentation for foreign artists. The position is responsible for the coordination and maintenance of internal calendars, payroll, personnel files, the management of personnel and tour logistics while travelling and other duties as assigned. This position requires extensive travel and the successful candidate must maintain a valid Canadian passport and be able to travel internationally. Experience interacting and touring with professional artists preferred but not required.  

This position will be of interest to self starting individuals who are highly motivated, organized and enjoy problem-solving, multi-tasking, business travel and possess related experience and excellent inter-personal skills. Salary will be commensurate with level of experience.
