ROBERT PLESCHKE
Corps de Ballet

Originally from Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, Robert Pleschke began his professional training at the age of 11 at The National Ballet of Canada. He began training at the RWB School Professional Division in 2001 and graduated from the program in 2004. During his time at the RWB School he earned the Dr. Alice Cheatley Scholarship and the Prince Edward Award. After graduating, he completed one year in the RWB Aspirant Program

Pleschke made his professional debut as a dancer in July 2004 at the Banff Centre for the Performing Arts. As a student with the RWB School, he danced in Nutcracker, Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake and Dracula. He has also danced with Ballet Kelowna, Citie Ballet and The National Ballet of Canada. Pleschke joined the RWB as an apprentice for the 2006/07 season and danced in The Magic Flute, Angels in the Architecture and was a ‘Lost Boy’ in Peter Pan

Having recently been promoted to the corps de ballet, Pleschke begins his second season with the Company dancing in the premiere production of Mauricio Wainrot’s Carmen, The Passion.
