Mandate

The RWB will create an enriching experience of dance for members of the Winnipeg and Manitoba community and others throughout Canada and the world at a cost that is financially sustainable.

• Dance will be based on the tradition of ballet and also be able to expand on the same conventions.
• Artists will experience challenge both technically and artistically.
• New and existing audiences will have an opportunity to appreciate dance and will value dance as an enjoyable aspect of their lives.
• Students will be both educated and employed as professional dancers through the functioning of a professional school and educated in dance through a recreational division.
