Winnipeg, Manitoba (November 15, 2010) - RWB kicked-off the holiday season with a bang on Saturday night! More than 70,000 revelers gathered along Portage Avenue for the 101st annual Winnipeg Santa Claus Parade and all were wowed by the RWB's gigantic Nutcracker Float. Everyone along for the ride - from Filbert the Bear to dozens of RWB School Recreational Division students to Company dancer Robert Pleschke dressed as Drosselmeier - had a blast. For those of you who didn't get a Nutcracker door-knocker, feel free to swing by the RWB Customer Service Office at 380 Graham Avenue and pick one up.
