For the first time in nearly 50 years, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet will be travelling to Massachusetts to participate in the 80^th Anniversary of the famed Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival from August 1-5, 2012.

Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival served as the platform for RWB’s launch onto the international scene in 1964, under the direction of the late Artistic Director Emeritus Dr. Arnold Spohr. RWB returns to the festival this year for a rare performance that includes three unique pieces that showcase the diverse repertoire and incredible talent of the Company, including Peter Quanz’s In Tandem, the pas de deux from As Above So Below by acclaimed choreographer Mark Godden, and Carmina Burana by world-renowned artist Mauricio Wainrot.
