RWB’s dancers have packed their bags for one last time this season as they travel to Ottawa today for performances of Wonderland at the National Arts Centre from April 28 – 30. These performances are part of Prairie Scene, a festival celebrating artists from Manitoba and Saskatchewan. This expedition will also mark Tara Birtwhistle’s final tour as principal dancer with Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

The RWB has had an exciting touring season.  The highlight excursion took place in October as the Company danced in three Israeli cities in celebration of the RWB’s 70th Anniversary – the first time overseas in seven years!
