Every year we require a large number of parent volunteers to allow our shows to run smoothly backstage.  If you are interested please sign up through the School Office.  If classes are missing volunteers, the School Office will be contacting parents to request their assistance.

FAQ

1.  If I volunteer do I have to volunteer for both the dress rehearsal and performance?  Answer:  YES

2.  If I volunteer, will I miss my child’s performance?  Answer:  NO, they will be allowed to watch from the front at dress rehearsal and from backstage at the performance.

3.  Do I have to pay for a ticket?  Answer:  Absolutely Not

All Parent Volunteers will need to attend a short meeting on Saturday, May 26 (times to be announced).

Last day for Movers and Shakers 2 is April 14-15

Registration information for 2012/13:

For those of you graduating from Movers and Shakers 2 you can register for the Creative Movement 4yrs old for fall/winter.

Registration dates are June 12-15, 11am – 7pm (pre-registration for returning students), June 16 10am – 4pm.  June 19-22 (open to public registration), 11am – 7pm, June 23 10am – 4pm.

This is your opportunity to view the pieces that will participate in Manitoba Dance Festival. Tickets are free of charge. Each student will get two tickets for each show that they perform in and these tickets can be picked up starting on April 2 – 20.  A draw for leftover tickets will be made on April 23.  Parents must enter the draw before April 23 should they wish to be eligible for extra tickets.

We are very pleased to announce that this year’s Festival Preview Silver Collection will be put toward the newly established Recreational Division Opportunity Fund. The Recreational Division Opportunity Fund was created to ensure that as many young people as possible have access to quality dance programming at the RWB School. Applicants will be asked to submit a letter outlining the circumstances of their financial need and bursaries will be distributed at the discretion of RWB School staff.”
