Online Marketing Coordinator
  • Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet has an opening for an Online Marketing Coordinator.

 

Summary Statement:

As the full-time Online Marketing Coordinator you are accountable for monitoring, maintaining, and contributing to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s online identity. The position will be responsible for reaching new audiences and forming more meaningful connections with existing audiences through a variety of online platforms.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Website

  • Coordinate and execute website updates and modification requests.
  • Analyze website use-ability and recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Work with external suppliers on website and content management system maintenance and upgrades.
  • Monitor and drive traffic to website
  • Administer domain names and web hosting services

Online Marketing  

  • Support the coordination and monitoring of online advertising campaign 
  •  Track and report on e-mail response rates and e-mail list trends.
  • Analyze results and identify areas for improved performance.
  • Lead the process of scheduling, designing and executing sales, marketing, communications and fundraising emails  Implement email acquisition campaigns.
  • Complete regular online activity reports.
  • Use Google Analytics to draw reports and evaluate campaigns.
  • Produce and distribute reports with insights highlighted
  • Analyze online trends and opportunities, providing recommendations on how RWB can integrate them into its overall marketing strategy.

Social Media

  • Support the marketing team in creating and distributing content via Royal Winnipeg Ballet social media channels.
  • Analyze online trends and opportunities, providing recommendations on how RWB can integrate them into its overall marketing strategy.
  • Other departmental duties as required

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one year related work experience
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Child Abuse Registry Check

 

Skills and Specifications:

  • Demonstrated skills in using Email Marketing software
  • Demonstrated skills in using Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated skills in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver
  • Demonstrated skills in coding HTML and CSS
  • Demonstrated skills in using Content Management Systems
  • Familiarity and comfort with online tools, with particular emphasis on Facebook, Twitter, Hootsuite, YouTube, WordPress, and AdWords
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Flexible work schedule, available for occasional evening and weekend work. 
  • Problem solving ability
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make last minute revisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • High degree of self-motivation and good work ethic with proven ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
