How to Apply

Phase One: Audition

The first step in applying for the RWB Professional Division is to choose the audition option that works best for you.

In-Person Auditions
Attend an audition class led by members of the RWB School artistic faculty. In-person auditions provide an opportunity to experience our teaching style firsthand while allowing our faculty to assess your technique, artistry, musicality, and potential.

Find an audition in your city here.

Virtual Auditions
Unable to attend in person? Join us from anywhere in the world through a live virtual audition led by our artistic faculty.

Registration for virtual auditions opens September 15.

Video Auditions
Submit a video audition at any time before June 1, 2027. This flexible option allows dancers to audition on their own schedule from anywhere in the world.

Submit your video audition here.

Phase Two: Assessment Workshops

The Assessment Workshops will take place in Winnipeg from February 5-7 and are the second step of the TTP admission process, as well as an amazing opportunity to see our renowned campus and experience our programming firsthand. Explore our studios, classrooms, Student Living Centre, and much more.

Applicants will take classes in ballet and other dance genres, observe classes and rehearsals in our Recreational and Professional Divisions and meet one-on-one with the Head of TTP.

Successful applicants will be invited to join the full-time Teacher Training Program beginning in September 2027.

*If unable to attend TTP Assessment Workshops, please contact the Head of TTP, Katrin Benedictson, at kbenedictson@rwb.org to arrange for an alternate short-term assessment period.
