After two outstanding decades, this will be Principal Dancer Tara Birtwhistle’s final season with the Company of Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet.

In celebration of Birtwhistle’s tremendously successful career, the RWB is launching a Letters to Tara campaign. Birtwhistle’s many fans and followers are invited to write personal messages to the star dancer expressing what her twenty years of dance with the RWB Company have meant to them. At the end of the 2010/2011 season, the RWB will present these messages to Birtwhistle in the form of a keepsake book that she will have an opportunity to share with her young daughter, Isabella, as she grows.

Letter-writing stations will be set up at the Centennial Concert Hall for all Winnipeg performances this season. Letters addressed “To Tara” can also be sent to the RWB office or you can choose to fill out the Letters to Tara online form below.
