RWB's own Alison Chaboyer wins Bret Michaels' guitar!

I have to say it was an excellent Friday night! Deneen, Debbie and I had planned this night since June 27th, when we bought our tickets to see Bret Michaels. We put up a calendar in our office and started counting off the days.

We checked into our suite, got some awesome pictures of his tour bus, bought our t-shirts and other merchandise and headed to the show. The show was sold out and we had fantastic seats. He looked and sounded amazing...What a show!

Afterwards, they had a contest for their Star Reward members. Enter a ballot and you could win one of 10 draws of $100 cash and the final prize...an autographed guitar from the star, Bret Michaels. I was stunned when they called my name. Deneen and Debbie couldn’t believe it (it took them a minute to realize that it was my name they called). We all ran to the front door and starting screaming. I had my picture taken for their website and a lot of offers to buy the guitar.

Again...an excellent Friday night!!!

Yosuke at the top of Mount Fuji in Japan

As the dancers returned from their summers off, we asked a few what they had been up to during their time off/away. RWB Soloist Yosuke Mino travelled to Japan and sat down to tell us all about it.

Yosuke was away in Japan from mid-June for about a month of relaxation! It began with visiting his family and friends and also partaking in a reunion with his classmates from both elementary and high school.

He took part in a dance workshop and worked closely with former teacher Akiko Kanamaru at the AK Ballet Studio on some choreography work.

To finish off his trip, Yosuke climbed Mount Fuji! He said the climb started at about 6:00 pm and they reached the top at 5:00 am with only a couple brief naps! What an exhilarating experience!
