RWB’s Executive Director Jeff Herd will be participating in tonight’s CEO Sleepout to help raise awareness about homelessness and poverty.
1 Night. Over 50 CEOs. $150,000 Fundraising Goal.
All in support of homeless employment programs and helping people off the streets. In 2011, we held our inaugural CEO Sleepout that challenged CEOs, community leaders and key decision-makers to raise awareness about homelessness and poverty. In the process, these participants helped raise over $100,000 for Change for the Better.

In celebration of our fairy tale season, we're partnering with the
Millennium Library for a free book reading series for children ages 9-12
titled Three Royal Tales for each of our fairy tale story ballets! The
first one kicks off this Saturday September 15th at 2 p.m. with a reading of The
Princess & The Goblin by George MacDonald and includes a magical
craft.
For the first time in nearly 50 years, Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet will be travelling to Massachusetts to participate in the 80th Anniversary of the famed Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival from August 1-5, 2012.
Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival served as the platform for
RWB’s launch onto the international scene in 1964, under the direction of the
late Artistic Director Emeritus Dr. Arnold Spohr. RWB returns to the festival
this year for a rare performance that includes three unique
pieces that showcase the diverse repertoire and incredible talent of the
Company, including Peter Quanz’s In Tandem, the pas de deux from As
Above So Below by acclaimed choreographer Mark Godden, and Carmina
Burana by world-renowned artist Mauricio Wainrot.
