Mark Cameron has a background in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo and has spent years of teaching fitness in the Winnipeg area.
Mr. Cameron designed a strength training regimen for the men at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School and has been teaching strength training since 1994. The class is designed primarily to prepare young men for the rigours of partnering while simultaneously enhancing the aesthetic of the male ballet dancer. Mr. Cameron is also an accomplished musician and has composed original scores for student and guest choreographers and is additionally on staff as an accompanist with the RWBS.
Since 2002, Mr. Cameron has been performing as "Mr Mark", during which time he has performed with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, The Winnipeg International Children's Festival, The Winnipeg Art Gallery, and a live version of the television show, The Toy Castle. He is also a very popular artist with the Manitoba Arts Council's Artist in the Schools Program.
