As an artist…
Canada's Royal Winnipeg Ballet School Professional Division was created to provide the RWB Company with highly-trained classical ballet dancers to further the development of the Company and to offer the highest calibre of classical training to dancers and dance educators. For over forty years, the RWB School has been inspiring and enabling talented students to achieve their goals, providing them with the necessary tools for fruitful careers as professional dancers and dance teachers.
Our dynamic team of experts is made up of gifted, versatile instructors from diverse backgrounds, working as a collaborative team and imparting their knowledge to subsequent generations of teachers and dancers. Many of our faculty have enjoyed successful careers as principal dancers and soloists or choreographers with professional dance companies. They are all committed to helping ourstudents realize their highest potential, teaching and nurturing talent and providing support and encouragement every step of the way.
In addition, the School engages international guest teachers throughout the year and offers numerous performance opportunities, vital experience in the formation of young dancers.

The RWB School recognizes that each artist is unique and seeks to bring out the very best in every one. Artistic faculty takes a personal interest in each student, building trust, instilling confidence, and fostering independence. Graduates of the School are responsible young adults who are fully equipped for the rigours and demands of a professional dance career.
