The RWB School Teachers’ Summer Workshop (formerly the Teachers’ Summer Seminar) is a week long program suitable for dance teachers at all stages of their careers working in any syllabus or system of training. Under the direction of Johanne Gingras, Teacher Training Program Director join other teachers from around the world who share your love of dance for this stimulating professional development opportunity.

From July 8^th to 12^th, 2013 expect to experience the following!

• Class observation of Professional Division students participating in the Ballet Academic Summer School Program
• Pedagogy: Posture Analysis and Conditioning
• Ballet Technique: Port de Bras, Arabesque, Pirouette, Allegro, Batterie, Pointe, Pas de Deux and Music
• Lectures: Nutrition, Production, Dance Injury and Child Development

The workshop begins with an orientation that will guide you through your week. Lunches are included and a wine and cheese reception will close the week. You will also receive a Certificate of Participation.
