The RWB School is pleased to be offering ballet exams in the Cecchetti Syllabus once again this year. Throughout the next few weeks all ballet students attending the “2nd” class may receive an invitation to participate in the exam process.  These decisions are made by the individual ballet teachers and will be based on each student’s progress, attendance, focus and the standard set by the Cecchetti Society of Canada.  The examination session will be held in April and a maximum of 4 mandatory Sunday exam rehearsals will be scheduled during the months prior. Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 2 ballet classes per week of the same level to be considered for these exams.

Please be aware that ballet examinations are NOT mandatory to advance to the next RWB and Cecchetti level (with the exception of the Advanced 1 exam); however they are encouraged as a goal setting event.  Ballet exams are offered in selected ballet levels from Levels 1-8 and within the Intensive Training Program.  Upon completion of an examination, the student will receive a certificate and detailed report from the Cecchetti Society.  For more information please speak to your child’s ballet teacher.
