Want to get involved in the biggest event in the Manitoba dance calendar? Each school involved in the Manitoba Dance Festival must provide a specific number of volunteers to help the festival run smoothly. Volunteers are given a variety of roles at the Festival, including: handing out certificates onstage, working the information booth or monitoring the audience. We would really appreciate you giving your time as a volunteer as it is a vital part of ensuring the festival runs smoothly. If we do not meet our minimum requirement for volunteers, the RWB School will be charged a fee.
Get a backstage view of RWB recitals! In order to allow the backstage area to run as smoothly as it does at Dance Spectrum and Spring Concert, volunteers are needed! We are looking for 2-3 volunteers for all levels under 5A. All volunteers would need to be able to attend our annual Parent Volunteer Orientation, which is held closer to the shows, and be available on the date of their child’s performance. The School Office will be sending out information on how YOU can be a RWB School Volunteer!
***All Dance Spectrum and Spring Concert volunteers will have the opportunity to watch their child’s dress rehearsal from the audience and watch the actual performance from backstage. Volunteers do NOT need to purchase a ticket and may watch the Act that they are not involved in, from the balcony free of charge.***
We are truly appreciative of the time that any parent can give to help out with either or both of these events. It allows us to keep our costs reasonable while at the same time as involving you in the production aspect of the events. If you are interested, please visit the School Office to sign up.
