This highly successful program allows students 14 years of age and older the opportunity to work with teaching staff, exploring the techniques and practices of teaching dance. All Recreational Division students who participate in the Teaching Assistant Program will be considered for the Teaching Assistant Achievement Award (monetary award). This award is presented at the end of the School year at Dance Spectrum. Interested students are encouraged to sign up immediately at the School Office. Classes are assigned as available.
The RWB Wardrobe Department will custom-make tights and bodysuits for all male students in the Recreational Division again this year. In order to take advantage of this unique offer, arrangements must be made by September 15, 2013. Should you wish to order tights or bodysuits, please follow these simple steps:
1. Contact Kevin Maguire via email at email@example.com or by phone at 204-956-0183 to set up an appointment to have your son measured.
2. Kevin’s team in wardrobe will build your items and the School Office will contact you when they are ready to be picked up at which point you can organize payment.

Ballet is pleased to present Dance Downtown on Sunday, September 29, 2013, a
free public open house being held as part of the national Culture Days 2013
Activities will take place from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. both indoors and on the courtyards of the RWB Building at 380 Graham Avenue and the Manitoba Hydro Building directly across the street. Street and lot parking are available in the immediate area, and regular Sunday bus service will stop directly at the event.
This year features a spirited program featuring two performances by the RWB School’s Recreational Division, as well as free demonstration classes for all ages: Creative Movement (3-6 years), Introductory Ballet (7 years through adult), and a jazz fitness class (all ages).
Ballet costumes and shoes will be on display for children to try on. Other kids’ entertainment includes face painting and interactive storytelling. Jaime Vargas and Art City will be conducting ‘paint a dancer’ workshops throughout the afternoon where there will be dancers posing and moving for the participants.
