A dynamic double bill that reimagines Stravinsky’s iconic compositions. The Fairy’s Kiss by Alexei Ratmansky is paired with a bold new Firebird created by Houston Thomas.

Artistic Director Christopher Stowell’s Swan Lake brings new dimension to Tchaikovsky’s ballet. His interpretation blends classical grandeur with contemporary fluidity and a clear, compelling narrative focus. First premiered in 2006, this version continues to charm audiences with its emotional resonance and sweeping visual beauty.

A fiery triple bill that celebrates our timeless yet fearless spirit, featuring Hans van Manen’s 5 Tangos, Balanchine’s Rubies, and a new work by Alysa Pires honouring The Tragically Hip and the tenth anniversary of Gord Downie’s passing.

The Studio Series

A new, immersive series bringing audiences closer to the creative process. Each event features a single ballet in an intimate setting, offering insight into choreography, music, and storytelling. The inaugural edition presents George Balanchine’s Who Cares?, set to Gershwin’s music, in partnership with the University of Manitoba.

March 31–April 3, 2027

Northern Lights Project

A new, national initiative showcasing Canadian artistic talent. This cross-disciplinary program brings together diverse artists from across Canada to co-create new works that bring ballet into conversation with a broad range of dance practices and art forms, culminating in performances by the RWB Company on our stage.

Our beloved holiday tradition continues to enchant audiences of all ages with its snow-dusted magic and sparkling nostalgia. Tchaikovsky’s iconic score is paired with breathtaking choreography and dazzling costumes in this uniquely Canadian production.

Professional Division Showcase

Witness the magic of dance as the talented students in our Ballet Academic Program (BAP) and Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program take centre stage for a transcendent year-end performance that showcases highlights from timeless classical masterpieces and unveils breathtaking new works.
