Scholarship recipients from across the country to train at prestigious RWB School

Following the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) School’s 16-city International Audition Tour, 10 talented dancers have received the coveted Investors Group Summer Session Scholarship to continue their dance training in with the prestigious RWB School this July.

“It is always exciting for us to see emerging talent across the country,” shares RWB School Director Arlene Minkhorst. “The Investors Group scholarships are awarded to the most talented auditionees to acknowledge their potential and provide opportunities to learn with some of the country’s top dance educators.”

A proud supporter of the RWB, Investors Group provides a $2,000 scholarship to one aspiring dancer in every province and territory across Canada. The scholarships enable recipients to attend the second phase of the audition process, four weeks of training at the RWB School and a chance to earn a place in the full-time Professional Division program in Winnipeg.

These 10 dancers join approximately 200 other students at the RWB Professional Division Summer Session, which takes place from July 5-31, 2015.

RWB School congratulates the 2015 Investors Group Summer Session Scholarship recipients and graciously thanks Investors Group for their ongoing support.
