STEPPIN’ OUT: RECREATIONAL DIVISION ADULT STUDENT SHOWCASE

Our adult program students have been working diligently over the past few weeks in preparation for Steppin’ Out, the RWB School Recreational Division adult student showcase.

DVDs will be available for purchase through the School Office between February 1 and March 19 (at 4:30 pm). DVDs are $30 each.

DANCE SPECTRUM DATES

Dance Spectrum, our year-end student showcases, are just around the corner! Mark your calendars with the dates below:

Dance Spectrum #1 June 16 - Centennial Concert Hall 6:30 pm
Dance Spectrum #2 June 17 - Centennial Concert Hall 1:00 pm
Dance Spectrum #3 June 17 - Centennial Concert Hall 6:30 pm

Tickets will be available through the RWB Customer Service Office on April 18th, 2018. Please keep watching your email for details.

SHARING DANCE

Sharing Dance is an initiative used to motivate Canadians of all ages to participate in FREE, healthy, fun and creative
dance activities. We are excited about the opportunity to introduce dance to a community that might not otherwise have
had the chance to participate and work together to make dance accessible to all Canadians! Learn the awesome annual
routine, perform it in your community, and fundraise along the way! It is 100% free to participate and also includes FREE,
fun activities for the whole family. As a Sharing Dance National Partner, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet is leading the charge in
Winnipeg – improving access to, and delivering, FREE, quality dance programs to those that need it most.

VOLUNTEERS PLEASE!

Every school that enters the Manitoba Dance Festival must provide a certain number of volunteers based on their number
of entries. Volunteers are given roles at the Festival which may include: handing out certificates onstage, working at the
information booth or monitoring the audience. We truly appreciate any time you are able to donate on behalf of the RWB
School. Please stop by the School Office to sign up for this volunteer opportunity.

FESTIVAL REHEARSALS

If you have any questions regarding festival rehearsals please contact your child’s choreographer directly. The RWB
School Office is able to pass along correspondence from parents/students to teachers however, please be aware that the
teacher will not be able to receive your message until their next scheduled day of teaching.

FIRST STEPS

RWB Founders’ Studio, 380 Graham Avenue

Witness student choreographers bring their creations to life for the very first time during First Steps, an innovative mixed
repertoire performance judged by some of the most creative minds in performing arts.

A post show party is held the final performance evening.

Tickets range from $10 - $15
Final performance & post show party $28
