In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun
No one can relate to the above recognizable statement better than Paula Potosky and Noah Luis who landed lead roles in this year’s Rainbow Stage production of the beloved musical tale Mary Poppins. Potosky, who has been touted as “an actress to watch” by the Winnipeg Free Press, is thrilled to have earned the role. The RWB Musical Theatre teacher and actress said: “I think what feels natural about playing Mary Poppins is that I love being around young people, to watch them grow and become their truest selves. Also, I love to sing to get my point across! My three-year-old daughter is probably sung to as often as she is spoken to!”
An immense young talent that will continue to grow this summer on the Rainbow Stage is 10-year-old Noah Luis. “Playing Michael Banks in Rainbow Stage’s Mary Poppins is an amazing opportunity,” said Luis, who has been taking class at the RWB School for the past seven years. “I have worked on my dancing, singing and acting for many years and now I get to show everyone what I can do. I can’t wait to begin rehearsals and meet the rest of the cast!”
