It’s time to come together for one of Winnipeg’s favourite summer activities! Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet invites everyone to Ballet In The Park, at the Lyric Theatre stage at 7:30 pm nightly from July 26 - 28, 2017. Presented by Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, Ballet In The Park is a great way to experience ballet.

Wednesday July 26 - Friday July 28: 7:30 PM

RUN TIME: 1:03
Act 1: 26 min Intermission/Demonstration: 15 min Act 2: 20 min

The RWB School’s Professional Division students will be performing a pas de trois performance of The Fairy Doll and the Recreational Division students will be treating the audience to a Grease medley.

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company Dancers will be performing Lila York’s Celts. Choreographed in 1995, the year before the Riverdance phenomenon hit North America, Celts is an exuberant fusion of ballet, modern, classical, and Irish folk dance set to the music of pulse pounding and foot stomping rhythms of Celtic music.
