New Registration Process!

The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School is pleased to announce that we have changed the registration process for our 2015-16 school year. We are introducing an online appointment booking system to simplify your registration experience and to minimize wait times. There is no software to download—all you need is an Internet connection.

Students and guardians may begin to book appointments on Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10:00 am. Parents of returning Recreational Division students will have exclusive access to the appointment schedule for 2 weeks. Starting on Monday, May 18 at 10:00 am, the public will be permitted to schedule appointments to register. All appointments will be booked on a first come, first served basis. Classes are subject to availability.

You will be asked to book the time that is most convenient to you, then visit the RWB (380 Graham Avenue) for your scheduled appointment. As always, you will have an opportunity to meet with both artistic and administrative staff as you register, and 20 minutes will be required for each individual to be registered.

Registration will be open from June 16-20 and June 23-27, 2015. We have a guaranteed appointment slot for each of our returning students. Students cannot register without an appointment.

Booking an appointment is a simple, 3 step process (see images below for details):

1) Go to and enter access code (provided to all returning student via email)
 This website will not be available prior to May 4, 2015 at 10:00 am
If you are experiencing technical difficulties, you may access the appointment booking system at

2) Enter your name and contact information, along with the names of each student you wish to register.

3) Select the appointment(s) most convenient to you. Each student requires one appointment slot. It is advantageous for families to select consecutive appointments. If you have more than 3 students in your family, you require only 3 appointment slots – we will be able to register families of 3+ students within one hour.

After scheduling your appointment(s), you will receive an email confirmation listing your registration time. This email will provide instruction on rescheduling or cancelling your appointment if necessary. Please bring a copy of your email confirmation with you to registration to expedite the process.

Although we are not able to book, cancel, or reschedule appointments over the phone, the School Office staff would be pleased to address any of your questions or concerns. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require further clarity. We very much appreciate your patience and understanding as we make this transition.

The class schedule and student placements for the 2015-2016 school year will be available the week following Dance Spectrum #2.

75th Anniversary Celebrations

On Friday, June 5th from 6:30-7:30pm in Studio 116, we will be hosting Pre-Show Chat - a panel discussion with guest RD Alumni, Rachael McLaren, current professional dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre and Catherine Wreford Ledlow, former Broadway performer. Both have created amazing performance careers and will each perform at one of our Dance Spectrum performances! All RD students and parents are invited to attend this discussion free of charge. We encourage all interested participants to please sign up at the school office.
