Winnipeg, MB – (May 14, 2015) The Royal Winnipeg Ballet School excitedly announces Sharing Dance Day, afree open-to-the-public event to engage in the love of dance. The official routine linked above will be performed by all who participate on Sunday, May 24 at 1:30 pm at Memorial Park*, opposite the Manitoba Legislative Building at the corner of Broadway and Memorial Boulevard. We invite everyone with a love of dance to participate!

To learn the routine featuring Canadian award-winning artist Kiesza’s JUNO award winning hit of 2015, Hideaway, watch the video and join us on May 24 for a fun expression of dance brightening our local community. A Sharing Dance Day event also takes place in Toronto on May 24 with Canada’s National Ballet School(NBS). These events intend to raise awareness about Sharing Dance, a national arts engagement strategy for a healthy, active Canada. Sharing Dance aims to spread appreciation of movement and music while encouraging Canadians of any age and fitness level to experience the joy of dance.
