Beverly Davies

​Bev Davies recently retired from IGM Financial Inc., where as Vice-President Enterprise Risk Management, she led the Risk Management department for IGM Financial and its subsidiaries, including IG Wealth Management in Winnipeg and Mackenzie Investments and Investment Planning Counsel in Toronto.

Bev is a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA - FCA), has her Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) as well as her Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Manitoba. Prior to joining Investors Group in 2006, Bev was the CFO at Canterra Seeds in Winnipeg, spent 10 years in a finance role at United Grain Growers and over 12 years in public practice in Audit & Assurance with Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young and Clarkson Gordon in both Winnipeg and Calgary.

Bev’s volunteer leadership experience includes serving as a director on the Board of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. She is past national Board Chair for Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada) and past Director on the Board of the MS Society of Manitoba. She is also past Chair of Audit and Finance committees (FEI Canada, MS Society of Manitoba); past Chair of FEI Canada Governance & Risk committee, past chair of the 2015 FEI Canada National Conference committee and past director and Chair of FEI Canada Manitoba Chapter Board.
