This dynamic jazz and tap teacher first came to the RWB School as a student in 1970. Ms. Burdeniuk returned in 1987 as a teacher, a role she finds delightful to this day. A multi-award-winning choreographer and performer, Ms. Burdeniuk has received acclaim for her work across North America at competitions and venues including: LA Danceforce Competition in Minneapolis, Manitoba Dance Festival and the Canadian National Exhibition. Ms. Burdeniuk is a former member of Moving Image Dancers and has appeared extensively throughout North America as a dancer and model.
Ms. Burdeniuk’s teaching credits also include Manitoba Dance Theatre, School of Contemporary Dancers and Isaac Newton Junior High School. In addition to her dance education, Ms. Burdeniuk has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Always a teacher at heart, Ms. Burdeniuk is proud to have students who have gone to careers with Disney, on Cruise Lines, with Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, as well as on Broadway. She feels a true measure of her success is the number of former students who have gone on to become dance teachers in Winnipeg and abroad.
