​Gregory McGlenning was born in Toronto, Ontario but grew up in Winnipeg. He began dancing at 8 years old at Doreen Bissett School of dance. Training competitively until age 20 he also danced at Rising Star Academy and Marquis Dance Academy where he graduated from the Marquis Dance Academy Intensive Program.

Mr. McGlenning’s accomplishments include scholarships to attend The Paris Dance Tour and Triple Threat award as well as many awards for his choreography, style and training. Being invited to national competitions is also something Mr. McGlenning is very proud of. In 2014, he competed in Chicago at the World of Dance where under the direction of Wane Santos, he and his team placed 5th.

Starting to assist in classes, Mr. McGlenning realized his potential as a dance teacher. He strives to improve student’s confidence and to achieve their goals in dance. Finding this experience extremely rewarding, he started teaching in 2015. In 2020 Mr. McGlenning joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School faculty teaching hip hop. He’s thankful to all his teachers throughout his dance journey and credit them all for the dancer and choreographer he is today.
