Julianna Generoux
Calgary, Alberta
Corps De Ballet
Born in Calgary, Alberta and raised in Ancaster, Ontario, Julianna Generoux joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet as a Company Apprentice in 2022. She was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2023.
After returning to Alberta at the age of 10, Julianna followed her love for the art of ballet by training at the Recreational Division at the Alberta Ballet School before spending three years with their Professional Division. She was accepted into the Ballet Academic Program at the RWB School in 2016 and spent one year in the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program post graduation.
From Hamilton City Ballet to the RWB stage, Julianna has leapt into the professional ballet world by performing the famed pas de deux from Coppélia in the RWB School’s On the Edge and performing with the RWB Company in Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. Her dream is to perform the role of Myrtha in Giselle, as she feels it’s a strong female character that offers both a technical and physical challenge for dancers.
If she weren’t a dancer, Julianna would be interested in working in fashion or design, especially with textiles.
