Martha De Ita

Martha was born in Mexico City. She credits her professional dance training to the Royal Academy of Dancing system. She became a professional dancer and joined the National Ballet Company in Mexico, wich allowed her to perform in different countries like France, Germany, Japan and USA. Martha’s journey in Pilates began as a form of cross-training to improve her dance.
After moving to Winnipeg in 2004. She trained to become a certified Mat and Reformer Stott Pilates Instructor. Pilates became her new career, filling her with joy for helping others.
She teaches all levels of classes, and uses all small equipment like fitness circles, flex bands, foam rollers, bosu-balls, mini-stability balls, toning balls, weights and more.
In 2017 she got the Manitoba Fitness Council certification for Resistance Training and Individual Fitness Lider (IFL) to be a personal trainer, and currently she is taking the courses to get her certification is Sport Nutrition.
Martha is passionate about the mind and body connection, and blending her anatomy, Pilates, Dance and Myo-fascial Release knowledge she can focus in her client needs and help them achieve a strong stable core and great mobility.
