Bio
Taisi Tollasepp joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company as an Apprentice in 2023 after completing her training in the RWB School’s Professional Division Ballet Academic Program. She was promoted to the Corps de Ballet later that year and returns to the RWB as a Company Artist for the 2026/27 season.
Her notable roles with the Company include Snow White in Angelin Preljocaj’s Snow White and Diamond in the Jewel Pas de Quatre in Christopher Stowell’s The Sleeping Beauty.
Born in Toronto, Taisi began her training in the recreational program at Canada’s National Ballet School before moving to Winnipeg to train in the RWB School Professional Division, where she graduated with distinction.
Throughout her training, Taisi received several awards and scholarships, including the Douglas & Elizabeth MacEwan Scholarship, Prince Edward Award, Evelyn Hart Scholarship, IG Wealth Management Scholarship, Arnold Spohr Scholarship, and Odette & Odile Scholarship.
Offstage, Taisi enjoys spending time with friends and traveling to experience different cultures. She aspires to one day dance Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, a role she finds both artistically and technically challenging.

The lithe dancer… crafts a flesh-and-blood heroine, walking a tightrope between Snow White’s girlish innocence and her smouldering sensuality
