Overview

For three days only, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet takes over True North Square with a free, behind-the-scenes experience.

RWB Revealed transforms the True North Square concourse into a working ballet studio, giving the public unprecedented access to watch the Company’s dancers train, rehearse, and prepare for the upcoming season.

Witness the work and collaboration that bring a production to life. Watch live Company class, observe rehearsals as they unfold, and enjoy free performances and special activities throughout the day.

Acclaimed NYC-based choreographer Houston Thomas will be with us to create a reimagined Firebird, a new work premiering this fall on the Royal Winnipeg Ballet stage. See Artistic Director Christopher Stowell and the Company in action as they prepare for the 2026–27 season, with an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at rehearsals for various works in the repertoire.

Whether you’re a devoted ballet fan or simply curious about what happens behind the scenes, RWB Revealed offers a rare opportunity to experience the moments that audiences almost never get to see. Enjoy a post-work drink while connecting with Company dancers in an intimate setting that brings you closer to the art form.
