Emily Bergen

Bio

Emily Bergen was part of the RWB School Faculty from 2017-2019, and rejoined the team in 2023. She has taught at DanceFusion Academy of Dance, as well as Footworks Dance Academy in Edmonton.

Ms. Bergen was born and raised in Winnipeg and began her dance training at the age of five in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School. She has trained in contemporary, modern, ballet, jazz, and lyrical and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from Brigham Young University. Ms. Bergen received the A. Gary Hopkinson Dance Scholarship in 2016.

As a teacher, one of her biggest highlights has been connecting with her students and watching them grow as dancers and as humans. She enjoys seeing her dancers’ excitement and success, particularly in a competitive environment.
