Bio
Felix Jinga joined the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Company as an Apprentice in 2023 after training in the RWB School Professional Division’s Ballet Academic Program and the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program. He was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2025 and returns to the RWB as a Company Artist for the 2026/27 season.
As an Aspirant, Felix performed leading roles in the RWB School’s On the Edge, including La Bayadère and Laurencia.
Originally from London, Ontario, Felix began dancing at the age of five at the Victoria Carter London Dance Centre. He later trained in the RWB School’s Professional Division before continuing in the Anna McCowan-Johnson Aspirant Program under the guidance of RWB School faculty, including Stéphane Léonard and Alexander Gamayunov. During his time in the Ballet Academic Program, Felix received the prestigious Arnold Spohr Award.
Felix is passionate about story ballets and the opportunity they provide to bring characters to life through dance. He hopes to one day perform the title role in Spartacus.
