Royal Winnipeg Ballet Welcomes Nine New Dancers and Announces 2026/27 Company Roster
Single tickets and flexible two-ballet subscription packages available now
Today, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) unveiled its 2026/27 Company roster, welcoming nine new dancers and recognizing seven Company promotions.
“As I prepare for my first fully curated season with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, I’m excited to work with this remarkable group of artists,” said RWB Artistic Director Christopher Stowell. “Our promoted dancers have contributed so much to the success of the organization and shown incredible growth, while our newest artists bring experience from some of the world’s leading dance organizations. It’s that combination of established relationships, fresh perspectives, and shared commitment to the art form that makes our Company uniquely exciting.”
The following artists have been promoted for the RWB’s 87th season:

The nine new dancers join the Company from Canada and around the world. They bring experience from many of ballet’s leading companies and training institutions, including the National Ballet of Canada, Houston Ballet, Dutch National Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Boston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, the Latvian National Ballet, Canada’s National Ballet School, Académie Princesse Grace, and the European School of Ballet.

Together, the incoming dancers represent a remarkable breadth of international training and professional experience. Their achievements include recognition at the Prix de Lausanne, Youth America Grand Prix, and the USA International Ballet Competition. The Royal Winnipeg Ballet also extends its sincere gratitude to outgoing Music Director Julian Pellicano for his artistic leadership and many contributions to the Company. As previously announced, Ming Luke joins the RWB as Music Director for the 2026/27 season.

Audiences can customize their experience by selecting any two of the Company’s three mainstage productions through a subscription package or purchase tickets to individual performances.
