Overview
Join us for a special Saturday matinee of Hansel & Gretel, a shorter, family-friendly version of our performance designed for all ages and members of the community. Whether you’re introducing your family to the magic of live performance, attending as a school or community group, or simply prefer a shorter show, this relaxed performance is a welcoming and accessible way to experience the joy of ballet.
Tickets are $15 each for groups of ten or more. Individual tickets start at $20.
As the witching hour approaches, brave Hansel and Gretel are lured by a devious witch into her Gingerbread House. Along the way we’ll meet an array of marvelous characters including the Sandman and his glimmering Dew Fairies, a delightful(ly twisted) Ice Cream Witch, and a sinister crew of bubblegum-pink gingerbread men. With playful twists on its familiar story from choreographer Loughlan Prior, mouthwatering sets and costumes from Kate Hawley, and a jazzy original score by Claire Cowan, this ballet is sure to be an unforgettable experience.
