Witness the magic of dance as the talented students in our Professional Division’s Ballet Academic Program (BAP) take centre stage for a transcendent year-end performance that showcases highlights from timeless classical masterpieces and unveils breathtaking new works. These performances feature the graduating class’s emerging artists as well as the entire BAP student body. Join us as our student artists demonstrate their dedication with every step, reflecting years of hard work and artistic exploration.

For Spotlight 2026 we are excited to present a carefully curated selection of iconic excerpts from the fiery and impressive ballet Don Quixote that showcase the brilliance of classical ballet. Rather than following the full storyline, this montage highlights the beauty of the choreography itself from the Dream of Don Quixote to vibrant scenes from Act I, including the Barcelona square and the introduction of Kitri and Basilio, brought to life through the ballet’s signature Spanish-inspired dances.

The second act features a captivating lineup of contemporary pieces choreographed by esteemed artistic faculty, RWB Company dancer Maggie Weatherdon, and fan favorites from this past First Steps.
